Macleaner is a macOS app that helps you remove applications and their related files, reclaim disk space, and keep your system organized. In addition, Macleaner may use part of your network connection to participate in a privacy-focused proxy network, as described below.

We design Macleaner so that it works with minimal personal data. Depending on how you use the app, we may process:

• Device information (macOS version, hardware model, language, basic diagnostics).
• App usage information (which Macleaner features are used and general performance data).
• Support information (details you choose to send us when you contact support).

3. Proxy & network usage

Macleaner may give you the option to allow a portion of your internet connection to be used as part of a controlled, ethical proxy network operated by our partners. This allows other approved customers to route certain requests through participating devices.

When this feature is enabled:

• Traffic is limited to specific, vetted use cases (such as web testing and analytics).
• We do not intentionally collect the contents of websites you personally visit.
• Bandwidth usage is capped and controlled to minimize any impact on your normal use.
• You can disable participation at any time through the app settings or by uninstalling Macleaner.

4. How we use information

• To operate and improve the Macleaner app and related services.
• To monitor performance and stability, and fix bugs.

• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our EULA.

5. Data sharing

• You can uninstall Macleaner at any time to stop all app processing on your device.
